She then went to the University of Oxford to undertake a Master of Studies in Oriental Studies, where she is currently doing her PhD on the texts of the pyramid of King Ibi (8th Dynasty).\u00a0Her research aims\u00a0to understand\u00a0the\u00a0nature and\u00a0the unusual treatment of these texts within the evolution and transmission of mortuary literature. She also took part in fieldwork in Saqqara with the\u00a0Mission arch\u00e9ologique fran\u00e7aise de Saqqara (MafS), which\u00a0focuses on the reconstruction and publication of the Pyramid Texts of the 6th Dynasty and excavates the funerary complex of Pepy I.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Sol\u00e8ne Klein (co-chair)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Sol\u00e8ne-e1431330124578.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2768 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Sol\u00e8ne-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"Sol\u00e8ne\" width=\"231\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sol\u00e8ne Klein has a Master\u2019s degree in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Antiquity from the \u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes and a Master\u2019s degree in Museum Studies from the \u00c9cole du Louvre, Paris. She is a PhD\u00a0student at the University of Oxford, working on the material culture of the Egyptian funeral in\u00a0the first millennium BC with a focus\u00a0on canopic jars. She has worked as a curatorial volunteer in the Egyptian collections at the British Museum and the Louvre Museum and is currently an intern at the Brooklyn Museum. Her main research interests include Ancient Egyptian funerary beliefs and practices and Egyptian material culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Ann-Katrin Gill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ann-Katrin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1093\" src=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ann-Katrin-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ann-Katrin-169x300.jpg 169w, http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ann-Katrin.jpg 441w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ann-Katrin Gill has a Magister Artium in Egyptology, Papyrology, and Classical Archaeology from the University of Trier and a Master of Studies in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford. She is currently a DPhil-student at the University of Oxford working on the edition of the ritual texts of the two hieratic ritual handbooks of Pawerem (P. BM EA 10252 and P. BM EA 10081) from the late 4<sup>th<\/sup> century BC. Her main research interests are Ancient Egyptian religion, Hieratic and Demotic texts and she is also working on Greek texts from Egypt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Marwan Kilani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Marwan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1094\" src=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Marwan-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Marwan\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Marwan-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Marwan-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/cregyptology.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Marwan.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Marwan Kilani has a BA in Egyptology, Archaeology and Ancient Languages from the Universities of Neuch\u00e2tel and Geneva, in Switzerland, a MPhil in Egyptology from the University of Oxford and he is currently a DPhil student in Egyptology and Near East Archaeology in the same University. His thesis focuses on the evolution of the city of Byblos in Lebanon and its role in the interactions between Egypt and the Levant during the New Kingdom.
